Welcome to 3rd grade!

Hello! My name is Sara Hurt and I am 39 years young! I live in Parker, Colorado with my husband Austin, our three daughters (Isabella, Genevieve, and Nora), and our two dogs. My oldest daughter, Isabella is a junior at Highlands Ranch High School and plays on their J.V. volleyball team. Evie, my middle daughter also play volleyball at Cresthill Middle School and loves to do theater. Nora, my youngest will be attending PCK as a kindergartener and loves to swim! When I am not at school, I enjoy being a mom,  traveling, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

This will be my 8th year in education and my 2nd year at PCK. Right after graduating from MSU Denver, I taught 1st and 2nd grade at an elementary school in Jefferson County Public Schools. I decided I wanted to teach closer to home and be on the same schedule as my girls. As I embarked on a new journey as a Tier Two Interventionist at PCK, I was able to work alongside a large number of students from Kindergarten to 7th grade and work with the incredible staff at PCK. 

Needless to say, I am honored to join the 3rd grade team and I'm beyond excited to be your child’s 3rd grade teacher for the 2023-2024 school year!  I cannot wait to learn alongside your child this year and watch them grow as students and as valuable assets to our community!
