Welcome to 3rd grade!

Hello! My name is Sara Hurt, and I am 40 years young. I live in Parker, Colorado, with my husband, Austin, our three daughters—Isabella, Genevieve, and Nora—and our two dogs. My oldest daughter, Isabella, is a senior at Highlands Ranch High School and is currently exploring her college options for next year. Evie, my middle daughter, will be a Freshman at Chaparral High School, and she has a passion for theater. Nora, my youngest, is excited to be starting first grade at PCK and loves swimming! When I'm not at school, I enjoy being a mom, traveling, shopping, and spending quality time with family and friends.

This will be my ninth year in education and my third year at PCK. After graduating from MSU Denver, I taught 1st and 2nd grade at an elementary school in Jefferson County Public Schools. I chose to teach closer to home to align my schedule with that of my daughters. As I began my journey as a Tier Two Interventionist at PCK, I had the wonderful opportunity to work with many students from Kindergarten to 7th grade, alongside the amazing staff at PCK.

I feel truly honored to be part of the 3rd grade team again, and I am very excited to be your child’s teacher for the 2024-2025 school year! I look forward to learning together with your child this year and supporting their growth as both students and valuable members of our community!
